How To Get Protein From A Delicious Smoothie
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies!Protein is one of the most important things for each of us to put into our body, but it can sometimes be difficult to get all the protein we need. After all, we are advised to get 50 grams of protein each day, and some of our diets do not make this reasonable. And while there are, of course, protein smoothies that can get us lots of protein at once, most of these taste disgusting, right? Actually, a protein smoothie can be quite delicious and still get you everything you need, if you know how to make it just the right way! There is an idea out there that a protein smoothie has to be composed of ingredients like milk, peanut butter, and raw eggs in order for it to be effective. But actually, you can make a delicious fruit smoothie and add some protein powder, and this will get you as much goodness as those other, less tasty drinks. When shopping for protein powder, you first have to make sure that what you are buying is high-quality, and then you also have to make sure it is whey protein; soy protein will not be giving you everything you need, and low-quality protein powder will not be giving you much at all! Secondly, if you want to add protein powder to your smoothie and still have it taste good, you should use vanilla or flavorless protein powder, as these blend well with fruit.
When you buy the juice, bananas, and strawberries for your smoothie, make sure that all of the ingredients you are buying are fresh and organic. The best juice to use with these ingredients is orange juice, but if you have a different preference you can certainly try it out! As for the fruits and berries, you can also try adding pineapple or additional fresh berries; another thing to try is yogurt and - believe it or not - peanut butter! As for making the actual smoothie, it is quite simple: just toss the orange juice, fruit, and berries into the blender with the recommended amount of protein powder, and blend until it is smooth! Getting the protein you need is not difficult, and it does not have to be disgusting; all you need is high-quality whey protein powder, fresh juice, and the right mixture of fresh fruits and berries! 500 Smoothies and Juices!

Does Primal Eating Actually Help You To Lose Weight?
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies! If you are trying to lose weight, you are certainly not alone, as this is something that thousands of others are trying to do each day as well; at the same time, however, most of these people who are "trying to lose weight" end up finding no success whatsoever - and one of the reasons is that, quite simply, the approaches they are taking to weight loss give them no real chance of achieving success. One of the approaches to weight loss that is growing in popularity in recent years is "primal eating," which basically calls for people to revert back to the sort of eating our hunter/gather ancestors indulged in - which, essentially, means no grains, no processed sugars, and no processed foods in general. Scientifically, the thinking here is really quite simple as well: basically, the human body takes carbohydrates and turns them into glucose (i.e., sugar), and when the body has an excessive amount of sugar in the bloodstream, it uuses insulin to get rid of all this sugar; this has two side effects, with the first being that the removal of sugar causes a "sugar crash," therby causing you to want to replace it in order to get more energy, and with the second being that insulin is now no longer to perform its other function, which is to burn your stored fat for energy! Of course, the question this brings up is whether or not this lifestyle actually does what it is supposed to do toward helping a person lose weight - and the answer is that, if you stick to the prescribed eating regimen, it absolutely does work, enabling you to eat all the meats, veggies, and (within reason) nuts, and fruits you want to eat, while losing plenty of weight! There are different approaches to weight loss that are best for different people, but if you are looking for something new to try, primal eating is certainly one that is worth looking into! Be sure to check out The Primal Blueprint for more information!

Tips For Improving A Sore Back
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies!A lot of people deal with the issue of having a sore back, and one thing about a sore back that can be especially frustrating is the fact that it can often seem like there is nothing you can do to fix it; while it can be tough to fix a sore back, however, there are certainly things you can do in order to accomplish this! Quite simply, one thing that can really cause your back to tighten up is if you fail to stretch it as often as you should; you do not need to go through some sort of intense stretching regimen each and every day, but you should take a bit of time each day to give your back a good, thorough stretch, as this will prevent your back problems from worsening, and will even start helping your back to feel better. Going to a chiropractor or a masseuse is another great way to help the condition of your back; of course, it can cost a good chunk of change to visit a chiropractor or masseuse, but they can also do plenty to help your back begin to improve - and actually, if your back is not in too terrible of shape, you can get a massage chair that you can use at home, and this will even help to improve your back! And one great way by which you can improve the state of your back - even though it is somewhat counterintuitive - is for you to exercise your back; if you have back problems, it will typically feel uncomfortable at first to exercise your back, but the more often you do this, the stronger your back will become - and the less pain you will experience in your back as a result! Back problems can be frustrating and painful to deal with, but this does not mean you have to allow them to get you down; follow these tips, and you can begin improving the state of your back until you no longer have any problems at all!

Finding An Outdoor Hobby To Stay Active
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies!A lot of people do little to try to lose weight, and yet, they complain about the fact that they are not happy with their weight. Many people, of course, think that exercise is lots of "work," and this is one major reason why they do nothing to lose weight. But actually, if you find something that you enjoy doing and you begin to do it regularly, exercising can be plenty of fun. This will allow you to participate in what amounts to a "hobby," while getting your body in shape at the exact same time. Walking is one of the most basic of these "hobbies"; although walking can seem like "work" at first, it can actually be quite relaxing. If you are able to go while the sun is out, you will get Vitamin D, which is one of the most important vitamins for our bodies. You can also keep your heart in good shape with this low-impact cardiovascular activity, and you can relax at the same time!
Another "hobby" that many people enjoy is swimming, which can be done at home (if you have a pool), at the gym, or even in a public pool. Swimming is among the best full-body workouts, and it can also be extremely enjoyable! Bicycling is a great way to see the world, and it can seem as though you are not exercising at all when you bicycle! Bicycling will keep your whole body in shape, and it can also be extremely fun and enjoyable. If you want to combine the exploration of bicycling with the ease of walking, you should try your hand at hiking. If you live in a rural area, there will be plenty of places to hike, and even if you live in an urban area, there are likely great places to explore the world while also remaining in shape! Losing weight and staying in shape does not mean you have to hit the gym or run several miles each day; all you have to do is find an outdoor hobby you enjoy, and then stick to it!

Living Healthy: Natural Foods!
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies! The desire to lead a healthy lifestyle is something that a lot of people have, but one problem a lot of people who have been chasing this goal end up with is that they do not quite understand what it means to lead a healthy lifestyle; one of the keys to leading a healthy lifestyle will be not only having the discipline to do so, but also understanding what it is you must do. A lot of people are under the impression that butter is not good for them, and because of this, they end up replacing butter with margarine or with other similar substitutes, rather than sticking with butter or using something such as oil in its place; while butter is not exactly great for you, however, it is far better than something that is chemically created such as margarine, so if you want that butter flavor, stick with butter rather than a chemical substitute! When it comes to being healthy, one thing a lot of people understand is that it is better for them to eat lean meat – such as chicken, turkey, and fish – than to eat red meat such as hamburger or steak, but while this is certainly true, it is also true that organic meat is far healthier than non-organic meat; in fact, you would be better off eating organic red meat then non-organic lean meat – and of course, organic lean meat is even better for you than organic red meat! And finally, you might imagine that cutting out all sweets will be necessary in order for you to eat healthy, but while cutting out sweets certainly is a good idea, it is not entirely necessary; the main key is to watch what sweets you are eating, realizing that something such as dark chocolate is far better for you than sweets that are artificially colored and artificially sweetened. As you make sure to keep some of these tips in mind, it will continue to be much easier for you to lead a healthy lifestyle, and to look better and feel better as a result.

Alternatives To Coffee For Every Different Taste
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies! Many people do not care for coffee, and there are many different reasons for this; some people simply do not like the way coffee tastes; for others, it is the caffeine content that they do not like; and for some, they don't like the way coffee affects them. If you are not wanting to drink coffee yourself, but are still wanting a bit of an energy boost each day, it helps to be aware of some of the alternatives to coffee. If the caffeine content in coffee is too high, and this is the reason you wish to avoid it, tea is a great alternative to try. For those afternoons when your friends are sitting around drinking coffee, tea is a great way to have a nice, hot drink with lower caffeine content. In fact, with tea, you even have the choice between black tea and green tea - the first of which has more caffeine, and the latter of which has less. Energy drinks just might be the right choice for you if the reason you want to avoid coffee is because of the taste, rather than because of the caffeine content. Red Bull is the most effective energy drink for most people, and if you do not want the sugar, you can even get sugar-free Red Bull. In fact - because of the "sugar crash" that can plague you with regular Red Bull - many people find that sugar-free Red Bull works even better for them.
And of course, Five Hour Energy is a great option if you want to avoid both the sugar crash and the high caffeine content. Unlike Red Bull and coffee, you will not find a sudden burst of energy with Five Hour Energy if you are already on the verge of sleep. But you will be able to stay up much longer, feeling alert and fully awake, with Five Hour Energy - and this drink makes you feel this way without making you feel like you have taken anything at all! There are plenty of alternatives to coffee, for every different reason for not drinking coffee. If you have been wanting to stay away from coffee yourself, try any of these three options; chances are, you will find one that is right for you!

Ten Fun Ways to Help Your Kids Get More Active This Spring
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies!
Do you know what the number one cause of childhood obesity is? American kids are spending way too much time snacking and playing or watching electronics. It's time we got our kids outside, where they can think, create, and explore, using both bodies and minds. Check out this list of activities for ideas on how to get your kid to move. Sign your child up for a sport. Teach your child how to hit a tennis ball. Volleyball. A running club. Just find something that makes your child move.
Put together a friendly scavenger hunt. Work with neighbor parents to determine what should be on the list, and send the kids from house to house searching for everything on the list. Teach your child to walk a dog. You can always teach your child how to be a generous citizen by asking them to volunteer to walk the neighbor's dog. Organize a neighborhood hide and seek game. Older children may want to play flashlight tag with friends in the dark. Set up family games outside, like badminton. Put up the game in the yard and have your relatives over for an outdoor game day. Pass out jump ropes and hold a competition. Try a few variations – Chinese jump ropes, single person and long, multi-jumper ropes are all good choices. Give out inexpensive prizes, like bubbles or silly string. Sign your child up for active summer camps. If you need childcare this summer, check into YMCA and local community camps that include exercise in the programs. Hand over the mowing responsibility. If your child is ten or older, he or she should be able to do it. Show the kids how to play Twister. See who is the most flexible of the bunch. Take your child for a hike or after-dinner stroll. Or try going for a long bike ride around the neighborhood. Or put up a basket ball hoop and start teaching him or her how to shoot. If you get active with your children, your kids will be much more willing to exercise. Be the example you want your child to grow up to be, and watch their enthusiasm grow!

How To Know If I Have Insomnia?
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies! In spite of all the over-dramatization cinema and literature have given to the idea of insomnia, many people simply want to know, "Do I have insomnia myself?" Because art has a heavy-handed influence on the perceptions of society, many believe that insomnia is a horrible sickness or disease. Insomnia, however, is actually not a sickness or disease at all - it is simply a symptom or sign of other diseases. The simplest way to describe insomnia is as follows: insomnia is when you have difficulty falling asleep or remaining asleep. Of course, insomnia can vary greatly in severity, ranging from being a minor nuisance to preventing sleep altogether; this is important to keep in mind when deciding whether or not you would like to seek medical attention. For instance, if it generally takes you an hour of lying in bed each night before you can fall asleep, but if you thereafter find yourself sleeping through the night, it might not be worth seeking medical treatment. This delay of sleep - or "light insomnia" - might be brought on by something as simple as stress or uptightness. Once you solve the stress itself, you will find that the insomnia goes away. On the other hand, there are severe cases of insomnia that can prevent sleep altogether, or that can at least make sleep consistently fitful, no matter how sleep-deprived your body might be. If you have a severe case of insomnia - finding that you are unable to fall asleep, or are unable to get good sleep, no matter how tired you are - consider seeking medical assistance. The body's mind and muscles are the areas most likely to be in disarray when insomnia is a present symptom. Also, medication can be a cause of insomnia. You can keep insomnia at bay with any number of prescribed drugs, but you can also remove insomnia entirely by curing the root of the problem - the disorder that is causing your insomnia. If you are suffering from a severe case of insomnia, visit a medical doctor - they can help you find out the disease causing this insomnia, and in this way they can help you solve the problem.

Taking Care Of Excess Ear Wax
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies! To some people, ear wax is "gross" - or is not a fun topic to discuss - but whether you want to discuss it or not, it is still important for you to make sure you know how to deal with ear wax (especially because most people deal with it the wrong way!). First of all, you need to realize that your body produces ear wax as protection for your ear drum and ear canal, and if you had never touched the insides of your ears all your life, you would never have to worry about ear wax at all, as the body naturally regulates the amount of ear wax you have. The problem, however, is that most people have messed with the insides of their ears, and in so doing many of them have created blockages with their ear wax, and not only are these blockages uncomfortable, but they can also impair hearing and can increase the likelihood of ear aches and ear infections. One of the best ways to get rid of this buildup of excess ear wax is to heat up either oil or hydrogen peroxide, and to lay on your side as you drip this heated-up solution into your ear; let it sit in there for about fifteen minutes, then turn onto your other side so that it can drain out of your ear. Another way that you can try to get rid of that buildup of ear wax is with an ear candle; by putting an ear candle into your ear and lighting it, the candle will send warmth and small amounts of smoke into your ear, which will help to "melt" the extra wax that has built up. If you have a lot of excess ear wax built up, it can take a number of times of doing one or the other of these things before you finally solve the problem - and flushing your ear with hot water afterward will also be a necessary part of either procedure - but when you use one of these two methods and have a bit of patience, you can keep yourself from ever having to worry about ear wax again!

Boosting Your Energy Naturally
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies! One thing that presents a lot of people with problems - at work, at home, and even when they have days off during which they want to do nothing but relax and play - is that they have a hard time keeping up their energy, and this can be especially annoying given the fact that a lot of these people are unable to figure out what they need to do in order to solve this problem for their own self; if you have had problems keeping up your energy, however, the good news is that there are actually a number of easy ways to go about boosting your energy in a natural manner! One of the biggest reasons people tend to feel low on energy is that they are not eating the right foods; when you eat foods that are processed and filled with preservatives, or when you eat foods that have a lot of sugar in them, your body is less likely to remain awake and full of energy, so instead of eating the "bad foods" so many people put into their bodies on a regular basis, consider eating such foods as apples, berries, and coconut - all of which are extremely healthy for you, and are full of latent energy. If you work at a desk job in an office building, it is unlikely that you will have an opportunity to take a nap during the day, but if you work from home (or if you are needing a boost of energy during a day off), realize that naps are not only a great way to get a nice shot of energy, but they are actually great for you as well! And the fact that many people sit at a desk all day, staring at a computer, when their body needs a bit of variance, is one reason a lot of people tend to get tired during the day; if you are starting to get tired, and you feel your mind beginning to lag, get up and take a break from your computer and your desk for a bit, walking around to get the blood in your body flowing and to give your mind a refreshing little break. You should have no problem boosting your energy in a natural manner - helping you to stay awake and alert throughout the remainder of the day - once you start applying these tips yourself!

Tips For Eating A Healthy Breakfast On The Go
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies! Most of us are fully aware of the idea that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but despite this assertion, many of us are simply "too busy" to make sure we get a healthy breakfast in us. But if you truly want to be as healthy as possible, it will be important that you make sure to eat something at the start of the day - and even if you are "too busy," there are a lot of options for eating a healthy breakfast on the go. If you are going to be eating your breakfast on the go, you will need food that you can take with you in the car or on the subway - but this does not just mean you have to bring a bagel or a muffin along! One of the best ways to get your body going at the start of the day is by eating fruit, as it is healthy for you and will start you off with the energy that is necessary for moving forward in your day. Additionally, you can pack food at night - food that will be healthy and easy to take with you the next day - such as breakfast sandwiches (using regular toast, or using something like a bagel or an english muffin) or hard-boiled eggs. A lot of people also have leftovers from their dinners, but they do not think of these as "breakfast foods," and so they leave these leftovers in the refrigerator and end up skipping breakfast altogether - but there is nothing wrong with bringing "dinner" leftovers for your breakfast! Just load some of your extra food into a tupperware when you finish eating dinner, and the next morning you will have something that is easy to bring with you and either heat up when you get to work or eat cold on your way in! You can already distinguish between "healthy" foods and "unhealthy" foods without any help; now, you just need to make sure you are making the effort to bring some of these "healthy" foods with you so you can start your day off the right way!

Health Benefits Of Honey
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies! The knowledge most people have of honey extends about as far as "I don't know, it tastes really good," but they do not realize that there are also plenty of benefits honey offers beyond simply its taste! People often make the mistake of assuming that honey is not healthy for the body (a misconception that has likely come about due to the fact that honey is sweet and it tastes good), but honey - unless taken in huge quantities - is not unhealthy at all, and in fact has three specific areas in which it is great for the body. Firstly, honey will give your body a lot of energy; unlike energy boosters that function primarily because of caffeine or sugar, honey provides long-term energy, as it gives the body glucose that kicks in for immediate energy and also gives the body fructose that gives the body sustained energy. In fact, many athletes have even taken to adding honey as part of their workout, or as part of their regimen during competition, because honey is able to give the body that push it needs in order to go the extra mile. Secondly, honey is helpful in building up the body's immune system, as it is a tremendous antioxidant, and as it has anti-bacterial properties that can help improve the body's digestive system while helping you stay healthy and fight off diseases. Pick up a 4 pack of Ambrosia Pure Honey from the Western Slope of Colorado. And of course, thirdly, honey will help to chase away plenty of various ailments and diseases if they do come, as the ingestion of honey can help with everything from sore throats to arthritis pain to hangovers - and honey can even be used as an antibacterial agent in dressing cuts and wounds! Unlike many substances that are "great to add to one's diet," but are also difficult to add because of the expense involved, the obscurity of the product, or the poor taste it gives to your food, honey is inexpensive, easy to find, and delicious - and if you simply add honey to your regular diet, you will reap a great number of rewards.

Exploring Three Benefits Of Oatmeal
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies! When you are making an effort to eat healthy foods, you will get to a point where you are no longer looking at foods simply from the standpoint of how they taste, but also from the standpoint of how they make your body feel, and how good they are for your body! Oatmeal is one of the foods that you tend to hear about frequently when it comes to "foods that are good for you" – and in addition to all the benefits of oatmeal, it can also be a delicious way to start out your day, as long as you make it the right way. A lot of people start out their day with something such as coffee or energy drinks in order to “wake up,” but it is much better for your body when you indulge in foods that give you natural energy; oat-based foods are some of the best things you can find for gaining natural energy, and there is no better “oat-based food” than oatmeal itself! Your body has both good cholesterol and bad cholesterol, and while you certainly want to boost your body’s good cholesterol, keeping the bad cholesterol under control will also be important, as bad cholesterol can clog your arteries and put unnecessary strain on your heart – and with a bowl of oatmeal at the start of each morning, you will go a long way in keeping your bad cholesterol under control. Finally, oatmeal is light on the wallet; with oatmeal, you will be able to enjoy a healthy breakfast every morning without spending more than a couple dollars – and in the long run, the health benefits of oatmeal will help you save even more money than this! In your tireless efforts to always find food that is tasty, healthy, and inexpensive, there are very few that can match oatmeal, and once you begin to incorporate this as part of your daily routine, you will certainly see tremendous results!

Getting Rid Of Back Problems
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies!Pain in the back (especially the lower back) is one of the most common afflictions people deal with, and one of the afflictions that can also cause the most problems for people on a day-to-day basis, as this pain can linger all throughout the day - bouncing back and forth between that sharp pain that makes it difficult to do anything, and that dull pain that makes it tough to focus on anything else - and it can often seem like there is nothing you can do to get rid of this pain; if you have ever felt this way yourself, the good news is that there are actually a few simple fixes for back pain, and with a bit of patience, you can get these solutions to work for you. One of the best ways to take care of back pain is to adjust your back so that the problems that were causing you pain are no longer problems at all; a couple ways to go about doing this - adjusting your back so that it is no longer an issue - are going to a chiropractor, or going to a massage therapist who specializes in back pain. Of course, it can be a bit on the expensive side to go to chiropractors and massage therapists (especially if you have to go to them for a while, or if your insurance does not cover the costs of your visits), but while you might have known this already, what you might not have realized is that there are a number of massage chairs that can do the same job a chiropractor or massage therapist will do; shop around for a good massage chair, give it a bit of time, and you will soon notice your back pain disappearing altogether! And one big mistake a lot of people make is that they shy away from any exercises that cause pain in their lower back (such as crunches, sit-ups, or any other "core" exercises), but one of the best ways of all to prevent lower back pain is to strengthen the muscles in your lower back. Of course, making sure you are doing any "back exercises" (or "core exercises") properly will be important, so that you do not make the problem even worse, but when you do this - exercising your lower back in a safe and effective manner - you will soon find that this lower back stiffness has been replaced by a strong lower back that no longer gives you any problems at all!

Tips For Getting Back Into Shape
Expert demonstrates how you can loose weight fast with some, simple yet powerful nutrition strategies! If you used to be an athlete (or if you simply used to be in shape!) and you recently realized that you have drifted far away from that "in shape" body, you might be looking for the best way to get back into shape. And while "the best way" would, of course, be for you to simply quit your job and work out all the time, this is not a viable option for most, which means that you not only need to know the "best way" to get back into shape, but you also need to get back into shape without expending a lot of time. The good news about trying to get back in shape in addition to working full-time is the fact that you do not need to work out for long stretches at a time in order to get back into shape; you do, however, need to be consistent with your workouts - which means working out every day (or as close to every day as you can!). If you have been used to not going to the gym at all, it can be difficult to suddenly start going every day, but one idea is to get back in shape by not even going to the gym! If you start finding other ways to work out, you can avoid the gym, and can even have a lot more fun getting back in shape; simply find an activity you enjoy doing - such as kicking a soccer ball around, or jumping rope, or walking, or running - and keep up with it consistently. When you "work out" by engaging in fun, productive activities such as these, you can start to vary what you do from day to day, which will also make it easier for you to do these "workouts." And over time, you will begin to see results from this simple practice of making sure you do a little bit of fun exercise every day - as your body will reward you by returning to "good shape" once again!
